Services

At Boca Recovery Center in Boca Raton, clients participate in a range of therapies and treatment services. In this intense addiction treatment model, clients enjoy an immersive recovery experience, as the majority of their day is spent in therapy. They then have time to socialize, relax, and recover in a sober, supportive living environment.

The medical detox program at Boca Recovery Center in Boca Raton, Florida provides a safe and supervised environment for clients as they work to get substances or alcohol out of their systems. We use a combination of medications and therapy to keep clients as comfortable as possible while they experience withdrawal symptoms.

We don't recommend rapid detoxes or quitting cold turkey, as these methods can be ineffective, uncomfortable, and even dangerous. Instead, at Boca Recovery Center, you'll find a safety-and-health-focused approach to sobriety. Our expert therapists and clinicians will be by your side throughout every step of your medical detox and tailor treatments to your needs.

Inpatient rehab treatment at Boca Recovery Center in Boca Raton allows an immersive recovery experience where you can receive care and support around the clock. You’ll live in our residential facility in Delray Beach and then visit our clinical facility in Central Boca Raton six days per week where you’ll receive seven hours of therapy each day.

Inpatient rehab treatment involves a high level of care where you can fully focus on your recovery in a safe, sober environment.

Outpatient rehab treatment involves treatment sessions during the day, often up to six days per week, but you’ll live at home or in a sober living environment. You’ll leave the treatment facility every day, and you can attend to other areas of your life when you’re not in therapy.

If you have life responsibilities that you can’t put on hold, such as a family to care for or a job you can’t take leave from, outpatient treatment might be a good option for you.

Medication-assisted treatment (MAT) involves the use of FDA-approved medications to treat certain substance use disorders, such as opioid addiction or alcoholism. Boca Recovery Center offers MAT to clients who need it. While this is often referred to as medical detox, many clients continue on MAT for months or years.

When you participate in MAT, you won’t experience severe withdrawal symptoms or cravings for substances of abuse. This makes it more likely that you will successfully achieve recovery, and it reduces the risk of relapse.

In addiction treatment, therapy makes up the backbone of your recovery plan. Cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) is a common therapeutic approach built on the idea that thoughts directly influence behavior. If you can successfully change negative thoughts patterns in therapy, behavior (such as substance abuse) will also change.

It’s common for people with eating disorders to also struggle with substance abuse and addiction. Likewise, people with substance abuse issues often have disordered eating habits. When these disorders co-occur, the key is dual diagnosis treatment.

This means that both conditions are addressed simultaneously. If only one disorder is addressed, relapse on both fronts is highly likely. At Boca Recovery Center in Boca Raton, we offer dual diagnosis treatment for eating disorders and substance abuse.

There is no one-size-fits-all approach to addiction recovery. Each person’s journey to recovery is different, and treatment should also be unique.
For some people, abstinence-only recovery seems intimidating. These individuals may think they can only succeed in a harm reduction model, where they practice safer approaches to drug use rather than abstinence.

The truth is that abstinence-based recovery, like we practice here at Boca Recovery Center, boasts higher success rates. We’ll show you the evidence, and we’ll guide you through the process. With the right support, it’s very possible to achieve and sustain abstinence from all substances of abuse.

Some people thrive in faith-based programming, where they center their recovery on God or a higher power. For others, family therapy is the cornerstone of their addiction therapy since these relationships will be their support network in recovery.

Whatever you need, we can help you here at Boca Recovery Center. We customize each treatment plan to meet the needs of each client, ensuring the best chances of sustained recovery.

Group therapy is where a lot of work is done in addiction treatment programs. Group therapy sessions often take a specialized approach, focusing on a particular therapy modality.

CBT sessions focus on identifying negative thought patterns and working to change them to more positive avenues, resulting in healthier behaviors over time. Dialectical behavior therapy (DBT) helps clients to understand their feelings and better process them. Trauma-informed therapy dissects past traumas, helping clients to understand how their past informs their present, so they can learn to react and manage life better.

All of this work can take place in group therapy sessions.

At our Boca Raton facility, you’ll enjoy treatment from some of the top experts in addiction recovery. Our staff members foster a supportive, caring, and positive environment where you’ll make significant gains in your life. You’ll also make new friends along the way.

What to Expect

Our treatment program in Boca Raton allows clients to live in apartment-style residences. They function independently in this comfortable living environment and attend both individual and group therapy six days per week.

Our comprehensive approach to treatment fosters the best recovery experience as you reside in sober residences when you aren’t in therapy sessions. There, you can participate in 12-step meetings, foster new friendships in sobriety, and begin to build a new life in recovery. Eventually, you’ll work toward securing employment and preparing to transition to life back home.

The admissions process begins with a 15-minute phone call where we’ll talk about your situation and history of substance misuse. During this clinical assessment, we’ll determine which type of program would best suit your needs.

Once we’ve mapped out an initial plan for you, we’ll schedule your arrival date, arrange transportation to the treatment center, and answer any questions you have.

In our day/night treatment program, you’ll take part in our inpatient rehab treatment model. While you’ll live in our apartment-style residences and have access to support around the clock, you’ll get the flexibility to function on your own. You’ll take part in therapy six days a week for seven hours per day.

In our outpatient rehab treatment program, you’ll still take part in therapy for the bulk of most days, but you might return home at night, or you might reside in another sober living environment. Outpatient rehab treatment allows you to test some of your newfound skills in the outside world. Since you are exposed to more relapse triggers in outpatient treatment, it’s a good idea to have a strong relapse prevention plan in place.

Residents enjoy private rooms with comfortable furnishings and a smart TV. They have access to joint recreational areas, including a full gym, game room, barbeque area, and basketball court.

Clients can function independently in their apartment-style living and cook their own meals.
